Bar Rescue is the SpikeTV show in which John Taffer takes over a struggling bar for five days. During that time, he trains the staff, introduces processes, and performs a modest makeover on the building. Appearing on the show has the benefit of the renovations, but also gets a bit of marketing from appearing on the show. After the episode airs, there is often a steady stream of customers passing through the area who want to be in a place they saw on TV so the show can have long lasting benefits.
