Shark Tank is an business based reality show which appears on ABC. The show is based off of the Canadian show Dragon’s Den, and the premise is that would be entrepreneurs pitch their business idea to potential investors.

Applicant Restrictions:

  • Must be 18+ Years Old
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an application Video
  • Must not be a felon

There are two methods of applying for Shark Tank. The first is to attend one of the casting calls for the show. The show had three open casting calls this year with last one being June 7, 2014 so the only option to appear is a video submission.

Open Casting Calls:

  • Columbus, OH — May 16, 2014, 2014
  • Denver, CO — May 30, 2014
  • San Diego, CA — June 7, 2014

To apply via video submission, you will need to complete a four page application process and submit a video detailing your business and explaining why you’d be a great contestant for the show. Once you have those, the Shark Tank Application Form can be found here.
