Hungry Investors is a very unique spin on the business takeover show. The premise of this show is that the three judges, John Taffer, Tiffany Derry, and John Besh, are willing to invest money in one of two restaurants that go head to head for the money. Because of the nature of the show, this works better for restaurants in larger markets. In some of the smaller cities, there simply may not be two comparable restaurants for the challenge.
