Biggest Loser is the original fitness reality show. This is a season long elimination competition in which contestants work to lose weight. The trainers are Jessie Pavelka and Jennifer Widerstrom,, Dolvett Quince, and Bob Harper, and they help each person lose their excess pounds. They recommend that anyone applying be 100+ pounds overweight. The winner of each year receives a prize of $250,000, and there is a second prize of $100,00 for the “At Home Winner”.

This show has a major fan following and being a contestant on the show will set someone up as a celebrity in their area. Appearing on NBC in prime time will give you mean that millions of people will hear your story. This can create a huge amount of stress to be healthy after appearing on the show. While all the casting calls for season 16 have complete, it is still possible to apply for a future season at the following website. This link will take you to their official site and one page application form. This has 20 questions and will take about 30 minutes to complete. I recommend thinking through your questions and writing out some of the responses ahead of time to ensure you are comfortable with them.
